21The sound of planets

Dear musiconauts, fasten your seatbelts: we are heading into space.

Inspired by Gustav Holst’s The Planets, we will discover the emotions of each planet until we reach Earth, where every one of us will have a say, a sound and a part to play.

Along the way, each planet reveals itself through the rhythms and melodies of the Suite.

It is on Earth that all the elements meet—fire, water, air and earth—combining instruments and sonorities through which the planets come to life and the whole universe becomes music.
