Event Slider

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same title, All the King's Men centres on the rise and fall of a southern US governor, inspired by the figure of Huey Pierce Long.

Reporter Jack Burden is sent on an assignment to write about Willie Stark, a candidate for state treasurer whose campaign is based on honesty and denouncing corruption. In the end, Stark graduates from law school and, thanks to a lawsuit against the state, strengthens his political power and runs for governor.

As his influence grows, Stark loses his scruples and values, making backroom deals to gain influence and raise funds for the campaign, which he wins. During his time as Governor, he uses his power aggressively and corruptly, culminating in his inevitable downfall.
