A literary festival that aims to celebrate childhood and youth with books as the protagonist and the starting point for countless activities, where reading, writing, imagination, creativity, sharing, art, culture, and critical thinking are the watchwords.

Activating one of the iconic Gulbenkian Traveling Library vans and setting up a meeting point under the Engawa canopy, CAM offers a Saturday filled with books, staged readings (or even musical ones, who knows?) and conversations about the books that changed our lives.

Written by Carlos Moura-Carvalho, Odete Severino Soares, and Maria Inês de Almeida, AGORA is a festival-meeting for those who enjoy children’s literature and all its imaginary, and for those who believe that books are tools of pleasure, imagination, and transformation.
