In this tour, curator Rita Fabiana will offer her perspective on the exhibition, highlighting its many themes and guiding threads.
This exhibition takes as its starting point the utopias of the 1960s, in the context of new independences and African liberation struggles, placing culture and resistance side by side.
Zineb Sedira (b. 1963), a French-Algerian artist based in London, has centred her work on deep reflections about migration, history, and the partiality of official narratives, drawing on autobiography, fiction, and documentary.
