Sketched Vocabularies. Rosa Barba

Event Slider

Guided tour of the exhibition Drawing Vocabularies by Rosa Barba, the artist’s first large-scale exhibition in Portugal.

This title suggests the creative process of an artist who has consistently explored how narratives are constructed, with the moving image as a central element, reshaping cinematic narrative in real time. She uses its constituent elements – celluloid, projectors, light, and sound – to literally create a fictional space within the physicality of the gallery.

Her work thus questions the increasingly blurred boundary between what is real and what we consider fiction, and it could be said that she is drawing a new vocabulary of perception.

In this new project, the artist was given “carte blanche” to intervene in the Nave space and to select works from the CAM Collection.

The tour in Portuguese costs 100,00 € per group plus the exhibition ticket value and in other languages costs 120,00 € per group plus the exhibition ticket value. All tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
