Guided tour of the exhibition Scheherazade: The CAM's Endless Collection, which presents the CAM collection in a surprising and non-chronological way.
Under the guidance of Scheherazade, heroine of the age-old One Thousand and One Nights, the CAM presents an exhibition inspired by the fictional structure of that legendary collection.
Through concepts drawn from those tales—and used here to organise 14 thematic sections—the collection is shown in a surprising, non-chronological way.
The result is a web of unexpected dialogues between artists and works of different styles and periods.
