A guided tour in conversation with Benjamin Weil (curator) and Rosa Barba to the exhibition Drawing Vocabularies (Desenhar vocabulários), the artist’s first large-scale exhibition in Portugal.
For more than fifteen years, Rosa Barba has created large-scale site-specific installations that deploy film not only as a form of expression, but also as a sculptural object. Dynamically inhabiting the spaces in which her work is presented, the artist conceives temporal and three-dimensional narratives – here given carte blanche to intervene in the CAM Nave and select works from the collection.
