Sage Gateshead

Sage Gateshead is an international home for music and musical discovery, bringing about a wide-spread and long term enrichment of the musical life of the North East of England.  Sage Gateshead and all aspects of its work regionally, nationally and internationally are managed and programmed by North Music Trust.

Sage Gateshead was part of Sharing The Stage’s consortia of 14 organisations which conducts research and development of participatory performing arts models that push organisational and practice boundaries, to establish the core of a community of learning initiated by the Foundation.

Sage Gateshead received £20,000 from the Foundation for this work.
