Building coalitions to tackle complex global problems
We are currently working on three programmes: ‘Valuing the Ocean’, ‘The Civic Role of Arts Organisations’ and ‘Citizen Engagement on Climate’. In 2022 we are continuing to explore how to internationalise our work to have a greater impact.
Citizen Engagement on Climate
To demonstrate what effective public engagement on climate looks like, and to help create the conditions for its scaling.
The Civic Role of Arts Organisations
To build a movement of change-makers, with impact in their local communities, across the UK and internationally.
Since its establishment in 1956, the UK Branch of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation has supported organisations in the UK to improve the quality of life for all throughout art, charity, science and education. Our support falls within the scope of multi-year programmes. Click below to learn about the history of our programmes.Previous programmes
