Help For The Arts was the first report ever published by the UK Branch. Ambitious in its scope, it made recommendations which were at the time ground-breaking such as creating artist and writer in residence schemes, improving arts education in schools, commissioning at mid-career and more.  

Help For The Arts was republished in 2009 on its 50th birthday.
