Zoological Society of London

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international scientific, conservation and educational charity whose mission is to promote and achieve the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.

The Zoological Society of London has received £15,000 to support the organisation to participate in Phase One of the ‘Valuing the Ocean’ Marine CoLABoration. It is convening a facilitated group of organisations to explore how to communicate the role of the ocean in human wellbeing and deploy evidence in more effective ways.

The ZSL took the lead on the One Less Bottle campaign which asks the public to only use refillable water bottles instead of buying the single-use throw away plastic ones, because of how many of these are winding up in our oceans.
