Our Fish – Stitching Varda

Our Fish is an initiative hosted by Stitching Varda, Netherlands, aiming to improve management of fisheries in the EU and UK to end overfishing. The UK Branch is supporting Our Fish with £50,000 for a new campaign to promote the climate and biodiversity benefits of sustainable fisheries and improved marine protection, recruit influential supporters, build public support, and incentivise EU and UK fisheries managers to end overfishing through more precautionary and science-based decisions. The campaign will reach key audiences through briefings, press communications, social media, public events, and mobilising Our Fish’s supporter base, working with expert scientists and NGO allies.
