Coastal Partnerships Network

Coastal Partnerships Network (CPN) is a network of councils, businesses, and charities operating in seaside areas in the UK – some of the most deprived areas, and those most likely to be impacted by climate change. Since 2020, the Thames Estuary Partnership has received £242,000 in funding towards the development and expansion of CPN.

In 2021, CPN designed and delivered a learning programme for marine professionals and worked with the UK government on a national framework for better coastal policies, including catchment, coast and marine.

In 2022, the UK Branch is supporting CPN to scale and disseminate its work more widely through an ongoing learning network and a programme focused on the needs of coastal partnerships. CPN will link with other networks and funders, including the National Lottery Community Fund, and will scale its work through government.
