NCB NI launches research report:
‘New to Northern Ireland: A study of the issues faced by migrant, asylum seeking and refugee children in Northern Ireland.’
As a direct response to the report NCB NI and Barnardo’s Northern Ireland have formed a partnership to deliver the Diversity In Action NI (DIANI) project.
The purpose of the DIANI project is to improve the lives of ethnically diverse children and young people in Northern Ireland, through practice support and policy development.
The DIANI project and the ‘New to Northern Ireland’ research were launched on Monday 4 October in the Long Gallery, Stormont, Belfast. Both have been supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
