Pedro Cabral Santo

Lisbon, 1968

Lives and works in Lisbon. Studied painting and sculpture at the College of Fine Arts of

Lisbon and Porto, specializing, expressive areas like installation and video installation.

In parallel, the past 20 years, has been developing the activities of artist and curated of exhibitions simultaneous, highlighting the Tilt (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon), O Pedro e o Lobo (Museu do Neo-Realismo), Fernando Brito 1983-2010 (Centro Cultural Vila Flor, Guimarães) e Manuel Vieira – CASA (Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon), Sem Dó, com Ré (hommage to Sá de Miranda, Museu do Chiado, Lisbon).Recently, exhibited at Gallery VPF – Cream ART Absolutely, second part of the trilogy Unconditionally (2014), Absolutely (2015) and Unforeseen (summer 2016).The work addresses issues related to consumer society, which takes place the experimental purpose with the combination of technical and cultural references that allow trigger reflection about the different themes worked.
