54 – 64: Painting & Sculpture of a Decade
Exposição organizada pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e pela sua delegação em Londres, com o objetivo de realizar uma mostra internacional de arte contemporânea no exterior. Contemplando pintura e escultura, contou com 370 obras de 170 artistas do pós-guerra, sendo Vieira da Silva a única artista portuguesa a integrar a exposição.
Endeavouring to stage an international contemporary art show abroad, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, together with its Calouste Gulbenkian UK Branch, arranged an exhibition displaying 370 post-war paintings and sculptures by 170 artists. Vieira da Silva was the only Portuguese artist included in the exhibition.
