Social Solutions is a report produced by The Centre for Social Justice as part of its Breakthrough Britain series and is supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (UK Branch). The report sets a new course for the future of the social sector and argues that there is a much greater role that the sector can take in public services in the UK. Unleashing this potential means looking at encouraging more sensitive commissioning, as well as removing some of the regulatory barriers which prevent smaller organisations taking part. The report reads as manifesto to government on reforms that are needed to unleash the power of the social sector to transform lives.
