The Conservation Volunteers

The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) works across the UK to create healthier and happier communities for everyone – communities where our activities have a lasting impact on people’s health, prospects and outdoor places.

The Foundation gave £35,000 to support a two-year study on the impact of environmental volunteering in six locations in the UK, testing the theory that it promotes social mixing, attracts social value, redresses environmental injustice and influences behaviour.
