London International Festival of Theatre

The London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) pioneers new forms of theatre, presenting spectacular performances and moments of magic in every corner of the London. A year-round programme culminates in the world-renowned biennial festival that transforms the city into a stage.

The Gulbenkian Foundation put forward £100,000 towards a two-year programme of work that will see world-class artists from across the globe working alongside non-professionals in the deprived area of Tottenham to redefine excellence in participatory practice and provide transformative opportunities for participants, audiences, artists and local organisations.
