This report by Green Alliance, which presents the conclusions from three workshops held in May and June 2013, highlights the importance of local areas in implementing the low carbon agenda. The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (UK Branch), under its Environment programme,has supported the Climate Leadership Programme in its work with MPs from across the three main parties to develop their understanding of climate change and what it means for their role, both in their constituency and at national level; and to help them lead a proactive and ambitious climate change agenda in Parliament.
