Jessica Bridges
Jessica is Head of Advocacy and Communications at the UK Branch. She is responsible for corporate communications for the UK Branch, as well as programme advocacy and international communications for the Foundation’s Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity.
Jessica has over 12 years of experience in communications and stakeholder engagement from in-house and agency positions. Before joining the Foundation in January 2022, she worked in international development at The Power of Nutrition as Head of Communications and Advocacy. Previously she held communications positions at non-profit Macmillan Cancer Support, and as a consultant at Spurwing Communications in Singapore, leading integrated marketing, PR and advocacy programmes in Asia Pacific with a focus on health and sustainability.
Jessica has a BA (Hons) in English and a qualification in communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She sits on the UN Ocean Decade Strategic Communications Advisory Group and chairs the UN Ocean Decade Foundations Dialogue Communications Group. Outside of work, Jessica leads climate community organising efforts in her home of East London, participating in Parents for Future campaigns and chairing a local Mothers Climate Action Network group.
Jessica is on maternity leave until September 2025.
