Ed McGovern

UK Lead, Climate

Ed works on the Foundation’s international Climate and Ocean Programme, leading the grant-making activities of the UK Branch and working in collaboration with Head Office colleagues. The UK Branch Climate-Ocean grant-making focuses on enabling citizens participation in climate and ocean action and effective engagement on both issues. He is part of the UK Branch’s working group focused on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in grant administration. 

Ed has a background in cultural sector public programmes, specialising in interdisciplinary projects involving science and the environment. He has a physics degree from the University of Oxford and a PGCE in Science Education from the University of Manchester.
