Jessica Bridges

Head of Advocacy and Communications

Jessica is Head of Advocacy and Communications at the UK Branch. She is responsible for communications of the UK Branch’s grant-making and activities, as well as advocacy and communications for some of the Foundation’s flagship international initiatives, including the Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity. 

Before joining the Foundation, she worked in international development at The Power of Nutrition as Head of Communications and Advocacy. Previously she held communications positions at non-profit Macmillan Cancer Support, and as a consultant at Spurwing Communications in Singapore, leading integrated marketing, PR and advocacy programmes in Asia Pacific with a focus on health and sustainability.

Jessica has a BA (Hons) in English and a qualification in communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She has represented the Foundation on the UN Ocean Decade Strategic Communications Advisory Group. Outside of work, Jessica is the voluntary communications lead for the Mothers Climate Action Network.
