Few composers will have led such a revolution with the artistic output they bequeathed to the world. Giancarlo Guerrero, Main Guest Conductor of the Gulbenkian Orchestra, said in an interview that “Beethoven was a composer who, more than any other, transformed the sound of music and redefined what a composer does”.
