Following a collaboration that began in 2024 with the Italian publishing house Franco Maria Ricci, the Museum received a new proposal for collaboration.

Based on works of art from the Gulbenkian Collection that reflect the relationship between art and the natural world, Natura Mirabilis. Art and Nature consists of 25 essays authored by writer and researcher Susana Neves, guest researchers and collaborators from the Foundation.

Available in Portuguese and English, the publication includes photographs from the Museum’s collection and views of the Garden.

As part of this initiative, an audio tour of the Gulbenkian Garden will also be launched on the same day. At each of its twelve stops, a connection is proposed between a work of art from the Collection and the surrounding Garden.
