In June, the Modern Collection hosts the cycle ‘Elemental Cinema: From the Alchemical Image to Ecofeminism’, which includes works that reveal ecological concerns, with a focus on female filmmakers.

The fourth session of the experimental film cycle Elemental Cinema: From the Alchemical Image to Ecofeminismis dedicated to visual artist and filmmaker Barbara Hammer, one of the pioneers of the lesbian film. The four films presented were made in the 1970s and 80s. The session will be 52 minutes long.
