With the existing gaps in media literacy (ML) for youth, the YO-MEDIA project works on developing game-based learning strategies and empowering professionals to promote ML skills. The project will be creating a hybrid game designed to promote critical thinking skills in assessing the reliability of information in times of crisis. Furthermore, the project aims to develop innovative pedagogical tools and training courses (MOOC’s) to improve the instruction of media professionals and educators in promoting critical thinking and ML in times of crisis for youth.
