This call aims at supporting investigations in the form of focus reports or situation analyses that combine best journalistic practices and outcomes of fact-checking activities with analytical frameworks derived from state-of-the-art academic research, in order to spur deeper insights on the disinformation phenomenon, based on factual recognitions of specific disinformation cases affecting Europe as a whole, or one or more European countries.

The Call for proposals details the conditions in which a project may be selected for support (admissibility conditions), the evaluation and award procedure, the reporting and payment arrangements and other elements relevant for a successful project. Together with the call, several templates are provided to be filled in during the application process or later when a project is approved.
