2022 Multidisciplinary Investigations on Disinformation

The key aim of the Call Multidisciplinary Investigations on Disinformation in Europe is to address the existing knowledge gaps on the scale and scope of disinformation in Europe and gain a better understanding of the policies implemented to counter it. Only organisations in a consortium located in the EU, EFTA and UK are eligible.

This call aims at supporting investigations in the form of focus reports or situation analyses that combine best journalistic practices and outcomes of fact-checking activities with analytical frameworks derived from state-of-the-art academic research, in order to spur deeper insights on the disinformation phenomenon, based on factual recognitions of specific disinformation cases affecting Europe as a whole, or one or more European countries.

The Call for proposals details the conditions in which a project may be selected for support (admissibility conditions), the evaluation and award procedure, the reporting and payment arrangements and other elements relevant for a successful project. Together with the call, several templates are provided to be filled in during the application process or later when a project is approved. All applications are submitted online on this website after registration on the site. All correspondence regarding each application is channelled through the registered email address.
