The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation has always been supportive of the Armenian communities in the Middle East. In addition to supporting educational institutions and community organizations, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation provides humanitarian aid to help alleviate the hardships caused by various crises in the region.

In response to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake, the Armenian Communities Department is sending assistance to help with community reconstruction efforts, as well as contributing to the needs of Armenian schools.

The total amount of the grant is 60.000 Euros.
