The Campaign to End Loneliness publishes progress report
The review, performed by Charities Evaluation Services (CES), explores the achievements of the first three years of the Campaign to End Loneliness. According to the report, the initiative, formed in 2010, has ‘exceeded expectations’. Indeed, the document commends the Campaign’s ability to raise awareness and commitment, mobilise support and encourage policy change, all with very limited resources and in a short period of time.
The Campaign has produced a short leaflet summarising its successful outcomes and setting the course for its future, reaffirming its aim to create connections in older age in England by working with and through organisations that work with older people, and by influencing national and local policy.
