UN Ocean Fellowship programme – Earth Journalism Network

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is a global network focused on enabling journalists from developing countries to report on environmental issues more effectively. The UK Branch is supporting EJN’s Fellowship programme to bring Lusophone and Anglophone media professionals from Global South countries to the UN Ocean Conference, with £110,000 of funding. The programme will build the journalists’ connections and capacity to report on ocean issues in and beyond their home countries. There has been huge interest in the programme: 120+ people applied from across the world and 10 were selected in 2020 through a highly competitive process.
