Governance Now Conference: ableism, sustainability, and decolonisation in governance practice
The fourth annual conference of Governance Now will bring together cultural sector trustees and professionals to engage in conversations on decolonisation, sustainability, and disabilities in relation to governance practices. Presented by Clore Leadership on behalf of the Cultural Governance Alliance (CGA), the conference will take place online on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 November. Confirmed speakers include Alison Tickell, CEO of Julie’s Bicycle, who will talk about the impact of COP26 for ongoing sustainability work in the cultural sector, and Priya Singh, chair of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, who will speak about the decolonisation of cultural governance.
