Isabelle Faust is generally considered one of the most inspired violinists today. In recent years, in addition to concerts and solo recitals, the German artist has performed on several occasions with a group exceptional musicians, almost all members of the Freiburger Barockorchester. It is with this group of friends that Isbelle Faust is performing again at Gulbenkian Música, offering an interpretation of one of the most monumental works of chamber music, the Octet in F major by Schubert. Regarding the recording of this piece in 2018, Gramophone magazine praised the “remarkable intimacy of the interpretation”.
