Komm, Jesu, komm

At the centre, Johann Sebastian Bach. Around him, that is, before and after in time, twelve other composers, twelve other motets. From the most distant, both before and after – Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Maurice Duruflé – to the closest – Antonio Lotti and Giovanni Giorgi – passing through Claudio Monteverdi and Johannes Brahms; a spiralling time-travel around Bach. Like twelve Angels of Time who gaze upon the master and pray: “Come, Jesus, come” (Komm, Jesu, Komm).
