Fighting misinformation online 2022: Ideas exchange

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the European University Institute, the Partners of the European Media and Information Fund, in collaboration with Google and YouTube are organising “Fighting misinformation online 2022: Ideas exchange” on Tuesday, 28 June. 

This event, the second in the series, aims to tackle mis and dis-information by bringing together European stakeholders and sectors to collaborate and share knowledge. We will discuss ideas and tactics to reduce the impact of misinformation, with a key focus on media literacy.

We are inviting those from NGOs, media organisations, governments, academia and tech companies to join us in Prague for a full day of compelling subject matter, along with workshops and networking. If you are unable to attend in-person, you can participate virtually in the morning sessions and join our keynote session in the afternoon.

Peter Pomerantsev, author of ‘Nothing is True and Everything is Possible’ and ‘This Is Not Propaganda
Ladka Mortkowitz Bauerova, AFP Prague 
Sasha Havlicek, Institute for Strategic Dialogue 
Jon Roozenbeek, Cambridge University
