Winter (from September 16 to July 14): Monday to Friday: 9:30 to 19:00
Summer (from July 15 to September 15): Monday to Friday: 9:30 to 17:30.


Main Reading Room (floor 0)

The Reading Room has 86 seats and is located on the entrance floor (floor 0) of the Art Library.

The Reading Room has available in open access a reference collection to support study and research and the latest issues of a selection of journals and magazines. It has available self-service copy print and digital equipment (pre-paid card) and wireless access.

Each reader can request up to 3 items at a time, and there isn’t a daily limit of documents. Library collections can be ordered, onsite, until 17:00 and used until 15 minutes before the library closes. A service of Advance Request is available and allows readers to submit requests, up to 24 hours in advance, for resources they intend to consult between the opening hours of 17:00 to 19:00.

The Advance Request service is destined to all readers who can´t visit the Library during the consulting hours prior 17:00. To use this service the reader’s should have an updated reader’s card and an active email address.

The self-service copy equipment is turned off at 18:45 (17:15 in summer hours).
