The Library in the World

The Art Library and Gulbenkian Archives seeks to promote its collections to a specialised public by participating, as a member, in international catalogues.

At the same time, it has been involved in digitisation projects and has made documentation available in digital format, based on concerns for conservation/preservation and the dissemination of its collections, the life and work of the Founder and the history of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Europeana Collections

Europeana is a European digital library providing images, text, sound, video, and 3D. Its mission is to promote European culture in collaboration with archives, libraries, galleries, and museums.
