This private archive includes 467 folders with correspondence, manuscripts, photographs and newspaper articles related to Diogo Macedo’s activities as sculptor, art critic and art historian, organized by his window Eva de Macedo. It was donated to Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian in 1987.

Amadeo de Sousa Cardoso Archive

The private archive of the painter Amadeo de Sousa Cardoso was donated to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in the eighties of the 20th century by his widow Lucie de Sousa Cardoso and his friend Paulo Ferreira. This archive includes photographs, correspondence, exhibition catalogues, leaflets, press cuttings, some monographs and personal objects of the artist.
