The Armenian Communities Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is launching the արդ եւս | in view programme. Through this new flagship initiative, the Department will support cultural production and creativity in Armenian, seeking to reinforce the intrinsic relationship between language and culture.

“It is a pleasure to announce this new and one of a kind innovative programme supporting arts and culture in the Western Armenian language,” said Razmik Panossian, the Director of the Department, adding, “here, language and culture will constantly engage with the world in order to thrive, to remain vibrant and contemporary.”

արդ եւս | in view encourages creative expressions of ideas, experiences and emotions in a wide range of media, including the arts, interdisciplinary and hybrid forms of expression, literature, critical essays and graphic novels, new music, videos, installations, animation, creative broadcasting and any other form of cultural expression in Armenian.

Western Armenian is the main vehicle of creation in արդ եւս | in view.

Արեւմտահայ մշակոյթն ու լեզուն՝ յառաջադէմ, ստեղծագործ, ինքնատիպ, եւ նորարարութեան կիզակէտին։

Գալուստ Կիւլպէնկեան Հիմնարկութեան Հայկական Բաժանմունքը կը մեկնարկէ նպաստի նոր ծրագիր մը՝ արդ եւս։ Այս նոր նախաձեռնութեան միջոցով, Բաժանմունքը պիտի սատարէ արեւմտահայերէնով մշակութային ստեղծագործութեան, ամրապնդելով լեզուի եւ մշակոյթի միջեւ եղած ներքին ու հարազատ կապը։

«Մեծ ուրախութեամբ է որ կը ներկայացնենք այս նոր ու իւրօրինակ ծրագիրը, որ առիթը պիտի ընծայէ արեւմտահայերէնը գործածելու որպէս ստեղծագործութեան եւ մշակութային արտադրութեան ժամանակակից լեզու» կ՚ըսէ Բաժանմունքի տնօրէն Ռազմիկ Փանոսեան, «հոս է որ լեզուն եւ մշակոյթը պիտի շաղկապուին աշխարհին հետ եւ մնան կենսունակ ու ժամանակակից»։

արդ եւս ծրագիրը կը քաջալերէ որեւէ ստեղծագործ կիրարկութիւն, արտայայտութիւն, կամ ներկայացում՝ ուր լեզուն կարեւորագոյն գործօնն է։

Ծրագիրները կրնան ըլլալ միջգիտակարգային եւ դիմել արտայայտութեան զանազան միջոցներու, ներառեալ՝ գրականութիւն, երաժշտութիւն, տեսողական արուեստներ եւ նորարար հեռարձակումներ։

Արդ, արեւմտահայերէ՛նն է արարումի հիմնական միջոցը։
