Ongoing Support for the Armenian Community in Lebanon

The Armenian Communities Department is actively involved in supporting the Armenian community in Lebanon.

In 2015 we have allocated a total of  648.920 USD towards supporting schools and students, as well as other educational initiatives.

We have re-structured our commitment to Armenian schools in Lebanon and distributed a total of   454.817 USD towards primary and secondary schools, special education centers and orphanages.

We have awarded a total of 93.027 USD in scholarships for Lebanese university students to continue pursuing their higher academic studies.

We distributed a total of  101.076 USD towards publications, language learning projects and other academic initiatives to promote Armenian culture and education.

In addition, the Department maintained its commitment to support the Armenian schools in Syria and has distributed 185.000 USD to 28 primary and secondary schools.
