Dr. Jonathan Conlin, an historian from the University of Southampton, is working on a comprehensive biography of Calouste Gulbenkian. He began his research two years ago and is planning to release the book by 2019.

This interview took place during his research trip to Turkey. During the interview Dr. Conlin shares very interesting details about Gulbenkian’ s correspondence which he consulted by visiting the archives of various institutions.

Dr. Conlin was the curator of the “More than Mr. 5%: The Early Life of Calouste Gulbenkian” exhibition held at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation from 2 October until 3 November 2014.
