Since the first Participatory Concert in 2014, the involvement of an amateur choir in the preparation and presentation of a key work of the choral-symphonic repertoire – Carmina Burana and Messiah in previous years – and even the inclusion in a special project like The Monster in the Maze, has helped to make the Grand Auditorium a real meeting place open to all. This year, the choice falls on another masterpiece: Mozart’s wonderful Requiem. This is already an essential event in the annual Gulbenkian Music programme.
