Mitsuko Uchida returns to Gulbenkian Music, now as pianist and conductor. A renewed opportunity to witness live one of the most brilliant renditions of Mozart’s pieces. In an interview with The Guardian, Uchida says she is an eternal student, always devoted to further the knowledge on each piece. She views the stage as place where “you have to risk your life” and that is the vitality she brings us in this partnership with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, a project dedicated to Mozart’s piano concertos.
