Born in Lisbon, Joana Carneiro graduated in Orchestral Conducting from the National Superior Academy of Orchestra and continued her studies in the United States, where she completed her master’s degree at Northwestern University and her doctorate at the University of Michigan. In this conversation, she will also discuss her international experience and the relationship between conductor, orchestra, and audience.

The rehearsal will take place between 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm in the Grand Auditorium of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
