A programme that brings together musicians from two of the most reputed Spanish and European string quartets. Jonathan Wilson, the Casals Quartet’s viola player since 2002, joins the Quiroga Quartet for a recital that combines the mastery of Josef Haydn with the original sound of Iberian composers. It’s a natural step in the career of the Quiroga Quartet that, since it was established on the international stage, has enriched its repertoire comprehensively, bringing into its circle composers and musicians who share with the group their history and creative life in Spain.
