Artist Manon de Boer is the protagonist of the Project Space’s eleventh exhibition, in which she presents four films about experimentation and creativity in childhood and adolescence. In 2018, de Boer produced one of the films of the trilogy From Nothing to Something to Something Else at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, which involved the participation of young performers Caco, João, Mava and Rebecca.

In the booklet which accompanies the display, curators Susana Gomes da Silva and Rita Fabiana reflect on de Boer’s work and on the ideas behind this project.

The curators’ essays are illustrated by stills from the four films by the artist: The Untroubled Mind (2016), Bella, Maia and Nick (2018), Caco, João, Mava and Rebecca (2019) and Oumi (2019).

A small biographical note by the artist concludes the publication, listing the various solo and group exhibitions in which de Boer has participated in recent years.
