The Calouste Gulbenkian Museum has now available the most recent issue of Scala Arts & Heritage Publishers’ acclaimed ‘Director’s Choice’ series, devoted to the Gulbenkian Collection. This new edition presents a selection of works chosen by António Filipe Pimentel, director of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum since 2021.

Over 80 pages, the Museum director reflects on his personal choice of 37 works from the collection. A research into this group of objects led to the production of new texts, which will guide the readers through the Museum galleries. Spanning the chronological and geographical diversity for which the Gulbenkian Collection is known, these 37 pieces create a unique and personal route that reflects the vision of the current director of the Museum.
