Calouste Gulbenkian Museum: two collections and a new programme
From 3 March, the new presentation of the Modern Collection, under the title Portugal em Flagrante, concludes with the opening of its third moment which occupies the main exhibition hall with a significant set of sculptures, installations, film and some two-dimensional works. The exhibition Portugal em Flagrante attempts to shed a different light on the history of Portugal through artistic practices.
At the same time, the first exhibition of the Conversations cycle will open, looking at the relationship between the Founder’s Collection and the Modern Collection, between different cultures and between different periods. The Project Space, which aims to promote projects by contemporary national and international artists, will also open its first exhibition.
Manuela Marques and Versailles. The hidden face of the sun opens the Conversations cycle and Tamás Kaszás. Joy of Surviving opens at the Project Space.
