Houses in the Modern Collection

Event Slider

Today, in an era marked by constant movement, chaotic spaces and immersion in a virtual world, houses continue to set themselves apart as intimate places that are full of memories and offer shelter and safety.

This exhibition spans the 20th century, featuring sculptures, installations, paintings, video works and photography by artists such as Ana Vieira, Rachel Whiteread and José Pedro Croft, but it also focuses on a large number of works produced in recent times, including pieces by Heimo Zobernig, Thomas Weinberger, Gil Heitor Cortesão and Leonor Antunes.
